Music

We plan on creating a music piece based on the theme song from Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Breakfast Machine by Danny Elfman.


The music will create the basis for the animation. The 'balls' will move in sync with the music.

Idea

The main idea of this animation is to make a claymation of the Blue Ball Machine, with some differences. The fist and major difference is that not all of the 'balls' will necessarily be balls, nor will they necessarily be blue.

The initial ideas include;

• having balls just rolling around by themselves in loops of varying shapes and sizes
• having a ball change colours
• changing shapes
• use the animators hand to manipulate some of the balls
• bouncing ball, change point of view showing this

Why Blue Ball Machine?

The Blue Ball Machine has many little contraptions in it looping around, with many balls to follow. This gives many opportunities to experiment with different techniques and with looping the 'contraptions' gives more time to making as many as we can think of as there less time is needed on each 'contraption'.
